Description

  • Assist Producers and Practice Leaders with identifying, researching, and organizing prospective client opportunities in targeted industries, markets, and regions.
  • Maintain accurate prospect, pipeline, opportunity, and client information in CRM and other internal systems.
  • Prepare and coordinate sales materials, presentations, proposals, pre-meeting briefs, and follow-up correspondence for prospective clients.
  • Support RFP responses, finalist meeting materials, stewardship examples, and other business development resources.
  • Coordinate internal meetings, prospect meetings, and follow-up actions to keep sales activity moving forward.
  • Provide administrative support for producer-led seminars, webinars, and educational events, including scheduling, invitations, logistics, materials, and follow-up.
  • Track seminar and webinar participation, prospect engagement, deadlines, and next steps to support business development efforts.
  • Coordinate administrative aspects of new client onboarding, including gathering information, organizing implementation materials, and supporting handoffs between sales and service teams.
  • Assist the service team with scheduling, agendas, notes, deliverable tracking, client communication, and maintenance of service-related records.
  • Support regional growth initiatives, cross-sell opportunities, referral tracking, and other sales enablement projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • General knowledge of employee benefits products, services, terminology, and sales process.
  • Strong business development, sales support, research, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel.
  • Ability to learn and effectively use CRM systems, agency management systems, proposal platforms, and other internal technology tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, time management, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build professional relationships.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Washington Life, Disability (health), and Travel license preferred, or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
  • Professional designations such as CEBS, BGA, PHR, or CLU preferred; valid driver’s license required.

  • Hourly pay range of $34.87 to $41.03 per hour.
  • Standard workweek of 37.5 hours.
  • Eligible for bonuses.
