Description

  • Own utility customer implementation projects from onboarding and deployment through long-term adoption.
  • Configure, validate, and optimize the Intelligent Grid Platform using utility data and network models.
  • Advise customers on grid planning, utility operations, interconnection workflows, and best practices.
  • Lead customer workshops and stakeholder discussions to define requirements and deliver project outcomes.
  • Help utilities integrate the platform into planning and operational processes to realize value quickly.
  • Translate customer needs, market trends, and industry insights into product requirements and roadmap recommendations.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and commercial teams to deliver high-quality customer solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members and develop implementation best practices.
  • Support go-to-market activities through demonstrations, presentations, RFP responses, partner engagements, and thought-leadership content.
  • Represent envelio at customer meetings, conferences, webinars, workshops, and other industry events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience managing complex projects or programs in customer-facing or cross-functional environments.
  • Technical expertise in power systems and electrical engineering, including utility planning, interconnections, grid modernization, or power system design.
  • Understanding of electric utility planning processes, utility data, planning studies, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Familiarity with distributed energy resources, hosting-capacity analysis, grid-planning software, GIS systems, or utility analytics platforms.
  • Experience managing customer and stakeholder relationships across technical, operational, and executive audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Experience mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team development.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings, conferences, industry events, and team collaboration.
  • Midwest location or Central Time Zone availability preferred.
