Description

  • Define product architecture principles and technical standards for Entersekt’s platform.
  • Advise on technical direction and drive initiatives across the CTO function and related divisions.
  • Research new concepts, technologies, and industry solutions, including building prototypes and proofs of concept.
  • Analyze industry trends, regulatory considerations, and market shifts, and produce reports and recommendations.
  • Assess current architectural adoption across the business and define strategies to synthesize and integrate it.
  • Provide technical leadership and collaborate with Product Development to ensure architectural direction is understood and executable.
  • Identify innovation opportunities by detecting inefficiencies and change drivers in financial services.
  • Design high-level structures for new technology solutions and identify potential roadblocks.
  • Engage third-party providers, partners, customers, and stakeholders to explore combined use cases and opportunities.
  • Represent Entersekt in relevant industry forums and share industry updates and interpretations internally.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a technology or software environment.
  • An Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience defining, documenting, and communicating architectural designs and principles for software products and solution proposals.
  • Ability to build clear narratives that explain concepts and positions to commercial, business, and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in one or more of the following is preferred: financial services, mobile platforms, consumer-facing solutions, or payment/EFT systems.
  • Experience with cloud-native SaaS architectures, including microservices, containers/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and multi-tenant considerations, is preferred.
  • Good working understanding of and practical experience with Amazon Web Services is preferred.
  • Preferably experience building scalable, data-rich services on a microservice architecture.
  • Systems engineering and/or requirements elicitation exposure is an advantage.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, including the ability to host workshops and design sessions.
