Description

  • Develop, test, and maintain robust microservices that process large volumes of requests in real time.
  • Design new features with a focus on high performance and secure implementation.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and quality assurance engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Work closely with DevOps to deploy and scale microservices in AWS cloud environments.
  • Drive architectural improvements for fault-tolerant, high-performance systems.
  • Influence technical direction, best practices, architecture, and design for the team.
  • Collaborate with the cloud infrastructure team to process and analyse transactions in real time.
  • Help improve risk assessment, authentication advice, and fraud detection systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Java, Python, or Golang; Golang experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record of mentoring junior team members.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as EKS, Aurora, Lambda, S3, and API Gateway.
  • Experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and microservices in high-performance environments.
  • Familiarity with security best practices, including cryptography, PKI, and secure system design.
  • Experience with automated unit, integration, and performance testing.
  • Agile experience with Scrum or Kanban in cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred; relevant experience highly valued.
