Description

  • Manage core AWS services including EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC, and EC2 with a focus on encryption, least-privilege access, and reliability.
  • Operate production environments with a security-first mindset, monitoring availability and potential threats.
  • Develop and refine monitoring and incident response approaches using tools such as OpenSearch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Build and maintain secure infrastructure as code and policy as code to support scaling, consistency, and audit readiness.
  • Automate compliance checks, evidence collection, secure deployments, and vulnerability scanning.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure deployments are successful, secure, and compliant with standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship on secure infrastructure and DevSecOps practices.
  • Respond to operational incidents through on-call responsibilities when needed.
  • Support continuous compliance with SOC2, PCI-DSS, and other relevant security standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevSecOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering role, preferably in fintech or a highly regulated environment.
  • Deep expertise in AWS, specifically IAM, EKS, VPC, S3, RDS, and EC2.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and security tools such as WAF, KMS, and Shield.
  • Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including EKS administration and Helm deployments.
  • Proficiency with Terraform for managing complex cloud environments.
  • Experience securing and tuning PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MariaDB.
  • Experience with GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or Atlantis.
  • Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation tasks.
  • Ability to thrive under audit deadlines and production incidents.
  • Strong communication skills for working with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
