Description

  • Manage prioritization and workloads across a global investing team and coordinate with regional leaders to meet common timelines and financial metrics.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to define solution strategy that meets client needs and supports deal structures.
  • Develop and propose pricing for complex sales opportunities based on Ensono’s financial structure and accounting rules.
  • Prepare detailed financial pricing models and investment memoranda documenting profitability and financial viability for executive leadership and, when required, the Board of Directors.
  • Ensure deals meet Ensono financial targets for margins and returns on invested capital (ROIC/IRR) and recommend adjustments to improve economics.
  • Partner with Product to develop pricing strategies, cost models, and approve SKU-level product prices for standalone or bundled offerings.
  • Shape and structure deals from inception through contracting, and assist sales and legal in negotiating contract terms and assessing/mitigating risk.
  • Provide thought leadership on winning strategies and innovative deal structures, and monitor competitive offerings, new technologies, and industry trends to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand and verify their cost structures and present clear economic value propositions.
  • Work with FP&A to evaluate the performance of historically underwritten deals and incorporate learnings into future underwriting decisions; travel occasionally, including overnight stays.

Requirements

  • Deep underwriting experience with strong understanding of P&L and return metrics (ROIC, IRR, etc.).
  • Prior experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, or corporate development required; MBA preferred.
  • Proven people leader with experience creating a high-performing team culture and delivering successful outcomes.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to interface, present, and negotiate with customers at all management levels and craft succinct presentations for executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills, with resilience and resourcefulness in complex problem solving.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills and excellent file origination and time management.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules that may include late nights and weekends and ability to meet tight timelines and changing priorities.
  • Comfortable with rapid change of direction and occasional travel; IT technical knowledge is a plus.

  • Estimated pay range $200,000 to $250,000 annually (full-time) plus eligibility for an annual bonus plan tied to company and individual performance.
