Description

  • Manage and develop a team of benefits analysts through coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
  • Oversee daily administration of health and welfare plans, retirement programs, leave management, wellness initiatives, and voluntary benefits across global regions.
  • Lead annual benefits planning cycles, including plan design reviews, vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, and open enrollment execution.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and global benefits regulations, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA.
  • Manage relationships with benefits vendors, brokers, and consultants to meet organizational service standards across regions.
  • Develop and execute benefits communication strategies to educate employees and drive engagement throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Analyze benefits data, utilization trends, and costs to provide insights and recommendations for program improvement.
  • Partner with Payroll, HRIS, and Finance to ensure accurate administration, billing reconciliation, and system integration.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex employee benefits inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive practices to recommend innovations that support talent attraction and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in benefits administration.
  • 1–2 years of people management or team leadership experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of US benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and benefits administration platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in high-volume, complex work.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting demands while meeting delivery commitments.
  • Experience supporting benefits programs in Brazil, India, or other international markets (preferred).
  • Professional certification such as CEBS, CBP, PHR, or SPHR (preferred).
  • Experience with global benefits or multi-country compliance (preferred).
  • Exposure to AI tools or technologies to improve efficiency or enhance benefits processes (preferred).
