Description

  • Serve as a founding member of the team driving the migration from a monolithic Drupal architecture to a headless CMS environment.
  • Build a scalable Next.js frontend for multiple client brands.
  • Architect and maintain a centralized design system for reusable UI.
  • Integrate the frontend with a headless CMS.
  • Create high-performance, type-safe, and themeable frontend architecture.
  • Translate Figma designs into reusable, accessible UI components.
  • Collaborate on maintaining code quality and user experience across the platform.
  • Optimize frontend performance and ensure efficient state management.
  • Implement unit tests and support application quality.
  • Work with deployment and cloud environments as part of delivery and operations.

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience with React, including hooks, context, and state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand.
  • Advanced proficiency in TypeScript for maintainable, low-regression code in a multi-site environment.
  • Expert-level experience with CSS-in-JS or utility-first frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or Bulma.
  • Experience turning Figma designs into reusable, accessible, and themeable UI components.
  • Experience integrating with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience implementing unit tests with Jest, Vitest, or React Testing Library.
  • Proven experience optimizing React applications for performance, including code-splitting and lazy loading.
  • Experience with Web Vitals and performance measurement.
  • Familiarity with Azure or other cloud environments and automated deployment pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Experience with design tokens and theming in a frontend architecture.
