Description

Own and deliver weekly virtual new employee orientation across all markets.
Manage orientation scheduling, materials, onboarding coordination, completion tracking, and competency results.
Develop and deliver ongoing clinical education and competency programs for clinical staff.
Create and maintain education modules, reference guides, competency assessments, and standard operating procedures.
Translate internal and external audit findings into targeted education and corrective action plans.
Support QAPI initiatives and Performance Improvement Projects through clinical education.
Partner with market Clinical Directors to identify competency gaps and align education with operational needs.
Track and report education participation, hours, orientation performance, and competency outcomes.
Deliver education on hospice care, documentation, infection control, symptom management, care planning, EMR workflows, and field readiness.

Requirements

Active RN license required; multi-state or Compact license preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
At least 3 years of clinical hospice or home health nursing experience.
At least 1 year of experience in clinical education, precepting, orientation, or staff development.
Strong knowledge of Medicare hospice Conditions of Participation, documentation requirements, and clinical standards.
Experience with electronic medical record systems; MatrixCare experience preferred.
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills for virtual and in-person learners.
Strong organizational skills managing multiple education programs across markets.
Master’s degree in Nursing Education, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
CHPN or equivalent certification, curriculum development experience, multi-state hospice experience, Relias familiarity, and audit-to-education experience preferred.
