Description

  • Lead a distributed IT team of engineers and support analysts, including on-site coverage in Tempe and Chicago.
  • Define team performance standards and operating cadence to improve execution and talent density.
  • Modernize the IT function by reducing technical debt across device lifecycle, endpoint security, internal tooling, and integrations.
  • Own identity and automation through Okta for onboarding, offboarding, provisioning, and access reviews.
  • Define, measure, and meet SLAs for Tier 1/2 support, device lifecycle, and access management.
  • Partner with Security to strengthen identity and security controls, including SSO, MFA, and access reviews.
  • Set IT strategy and prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
  • Work cross-functionally with Security, People, and Engineering to improve the employee experience.
  • Support and debug IT issues hands-on when needed as a player-coach.

Requirements

  • Experience leading IT teams in fast-moving, remote-first environments.
  • Experience leading a fix-and-modernize phase, not just steady-state operations.
  • Deep experience with Okta (required).
  • Experience with modern MDM tools such as Intune, Jamf, Kandji, or similar.
  • Experience with Google Workspace and the Atlassian suite.
  • Ability to scope, sequence, and deliver complex cross-functional programs on time.
  • Experience using Okta or an equivalent identity provider to automate provisioning.
  • Deep experience across Tier 1/2 support, device lifecycle management, identity, and endpoint security.
  • Experience partnering with security teams on audits, access reviews, endpoint health, and incident response.
  • AI-curious mindset and interest in applying AI to IT operations.
  • High standards and strong judgment in balancing quality with business speed.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $160,000 to $230,000 USD.
  • Competitive total compensation that may include equity and/or variable pay (OTE).
