Description

  • Own endpoint management, identity, SaaS applications, access provisioning, and renewal inventory for the remote workforce.
  • Provide hands-on technical support and establish fast, first-call issue resolution.
  • Manage device and account onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Partner with Security to implement access controls, endpoint policies, and audit trails for ISO compliance.
  • Execute security workstreams including tooling rollouts, access reviews, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Build automation and self-service tools to reduce manual support volume and improve consistency.
  • Administer the Apple fleet, including MDM policies, OS upgrades, and hardware lifecycle management.
  • Manage technology vendors, SaaS onboarding and offboarding, vendor records, and technology spend.
  • Collaborate across functions to identify IT needs, set priorities, and enable self-service support.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience independently owning IT for a distributed, remote-first organization, including endpoints, identity, and business applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to set direction and operate autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Hands-on experience with Apple hardware and enterprise MDM platforms such as Kandji, Jamf, or Hexnode.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management tools such as Okta.
  • Experience developing security and compliance controls, ideally supporting ISO 27001.
  • Experience executing security initiatives such as vulnerability remediation, tooling rollouts, and access reviews.
  • Experience automating IT workflows through scripting or self-service tooling.
  • Python scripting experience and familiarity with Claude Code or other AI tools.
  • Experience managing IT vendors and technology spend through a formal vendor management process.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical issues to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • ISO 27001 certification or direct ISO audit experience preferred.
  • Experience in a regulated industry or SaaS company handling sensitive data preferred.
