Description

  • Define and own Engine’s creative vision and brand expression across identity, campaigns, and other touchpoints.
  • Lead and manage the full creative organization, including creative directors, brand and growth designers, and copywriters.
  • Set creative direction, develop talent, and uphold a high standard for creative excellence.
  • Define the creative culture, operating standards, and conditions that enable breakthrough work at scale.
  • Partner with brand and design leadership to align creative vision with brand strategy, business goals, and organizational priorities.
  • Work with Creative Ops to ensure the team is properly resourced, structured, and operating efficiently.
  • Serve as the final creative authority across campaigns, design systems, content, product storytelling, and related output.
  • Identify capability gaps and address them through hiring, talent development, and external resourcing.
  • Represent the creative organization to senior leadership, advocating for investment and driving executive alignment.
  • Build and maintain high-caliber agency and production partner relationships to elevate the quality and ambition of the work.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in creative leadership.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing creative organizations in fast-moving, ambitious environments.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality creative at scale across campaigns, brand systems, content, and integrated experiences.
  • People-first leadership style with a strong focus on talent development and team performance.
  • Deep fluency across brand design, growth, copywriting, campaigns, and production.
  • Strong organizational instincts for structuring teams, allocating resources, and creating effective operating conditions.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills.
  • Comfort operating at the intersection of creative ambition, business strategy, and organizational leadership.
  • A sharp, distinctive creative point of view.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $159,000 to $220,000 USD.
  • Competitive base pay tied to role, experience, and location.
  • Equity and/or variable pay (OTE) may be included in total compensation.
  • Opportunities for bonuses and commissions.
