Description

  • Develop and champion a clear creative vision for CookUnity’s brand design direction.
  • Lead the brand design team in creating differentiated visual storytelling across website, app, social media, advertising, CRM, and packaging.
  • Own, refine, and evolve the CookUnity brand identity and visual system as a living resource.
  • Set and uphold high standards for design craft, quality, and executional consistency.
  • Design and manage an end-to-end creative workflow, including intake, reviews, stakeholder feedback, and approvals.
  • Lead regular creative reviews and provide coaching to ensure pixel-perfect execution across deliverables.
  • Route and present brand design work for executive and founder review on high-visibility initiatives.
  • Champion the use of AI-based tools to improve efficiency, automation, and production workflows.
  • Mentor, motivate, and develop a small team of designers through structured feedback and growth conversations.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and the brand copy team to align on visual storytelling and solve design challenges.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in brand design; experience at top consumer brands and/or agencies is a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience managing other designers.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating mastery of design craft across multiple design disciplines.
  • Proficiency in video design and using design effectively in video is a plus.
  • Experience using insights and performance data to shape creative work.
  • Experience in a fast-paced growth environment with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and rapid iteration.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to partner across functions and adapt decisions based on feedback.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Claude Design, and relevant AI design tools.
  • Passion for design and the creative process.
