Description

  • Design and implement product features and resolve product defects.
  • Understand product requirements for future releases and innovation.
  • Work across front-end and back-end development to enhance the system.
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and testing teams on usability, features, and performance.
  • Translate wireframes and requirements documents into technical solutions.
  • Own projects from product requirements through launch, including code review, unit testing, testing, and deployment.
  • Document work thoroughly to support SOPs, audits, peer training, and peer code review.
  • Evangelize emerging technologies and integrate them into the product suite.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with system design and development of web applications.
  • Strong experience with HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Professional experience with Visual Studio 2012+ and MVC frameworks.
  • Experience writing database-driven ASP.NET applications (.NET 4.0+ required).
  • Experience developing REST web services using C# .NET and ASP.NET.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Angular.js, jQuery, or Kendo UI.
  • Ability to use unit testing tools and embrace test-driven development.
  • Experience debugging and profiling ASP.NET applications.
  • Experience with OO design patterns, Agile/Scrum, and SCM platforms such as Subversion or TFS.
  • Technical project experience analyzing, documenting, and designing software system architectures.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or appropriate experience.
  • Experience with secure application development is a plus.
  • Mobile application development is a plus.
  • User experience design experience is a plus.
