Description

  • Provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership for assigned teams and clients.
  • Supervise, coach, and support people leaders and supervisors across multiple teams.
  • Ensure team processes, inventory, and resources are aligned to monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Support account managers in building and expanding client relationships.
  • Maintain expertise in insurance billing, reimbursement procedures, and collection regulations.
  • Create, implement, and improve procedures, operational changes, and departmental plans.
  • Lead annual goal planning, performance reviews, and monthly account reviews for assigned staff.
  • Balance departmental workload and coordinate resources to improve efficiency, productivity, and deliverables.
  • Analyze data and performance metrics, conduct audits, and report variances and action plans to executive management.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, internal policies, and client requirements while coordinating special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of management or supervisory experience leading teams of 10+ people.
  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare, information technology, or managed care, preferably in finance/collections, business operations, or revenue recovery.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software.
  • Extensive understanding of insurance payer/provider claim processing and related data requirements.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in a production environment, meeting deadlines, and thriving in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Proven success in setting priorities, managing multiple projects, and driving measurable results.
  • Experience communicating obstacles and developing action plans for management.
  • Strong organizational skills.
