Description

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive insurance framework in collaboration with Google’s in-house insurance team.
  • Evaluate risk tolerance and advise leadership on insurance decisions and coverage strategies.
  • Define and standardize processes that support scalable insurance operations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Intersect teams and Google’s insurance group.
  • Translate technical project details into clear insurance requirements and coverage rationale.
  • Gather and synthesize technical data to support insurance placement processes.
  • Review contracts and provide standardized insurance language.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance requirements across projects.
  • Maintain the internal insurance data room and related documentation.
  • Track policy terms and coverage across entities and technologies.
  • Coordinate Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests.
  • Support premium reviews, internal audits, and claims processes.
  • Manage the insurance budget and premium forecasting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in insurance coordination, risk management, or cross-functional roles.
  • Experience in energy, infrastructure, or asset-heavy industries.
  • Strong understanding of risk profiles across energy technologies and related insurance products.
  • Proven ability to manage complex workflows and stakeholder coordination.
  • Proficiency with G Suite and Slack.
  • Experience working with technical and operational teams across functions (preferred).
  • Ability to support audit, claims, and compliance processes (preferred).

  • Total compensation of $188,500 - $205,400, including base salary and bonus.
