Description

  • Transform complex datasets into executive-level summaries and communicate findings clearly and succinctly.
  • Conduct quantitative analysis and predictive modeling of healthcare data to support management decisions.
  • Develop, collect, and analyze metrics and data to inform fact-based decisions.
  • Identify necessary data elements, query large datasets, join tables, and build analytic views.
  • Prepare data documentation and document analysis processes and results.
  • Work with the external data management team to receive, load, and analyze new data.
  • Collaborate with BA and IT teams to understand requirements and socialize ideas among peers.
  • Communicate results to key stakeholders and policy makers through clear presentations and supporting analysis.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong prioritization and time management.
  • Work independently with minimal direction while maintaining strong attention to detail and validating work product.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2+ years of experience with analytics, reporting, and relational databases.
  • 2 years of experience working in a healthcare, SaaS, or similar environment.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with healthcare terminology such as diagnosis code, CPT, claim ID, DRG, inpatient, and outpatient.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Experience with statistical models and predictive analytics.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for audiences with varying technical backgrounds.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Strong computer proficiency with basic office applications, including MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
