Description

  • Collaborate within a cross-functional team to architect, build, test, deploy, and operate cloud-based telco applications for global IoT connectivity.
  • Develop SIM management software on AWS using Python, TypeScript, and Java.
  • Design and implement backend services that add customer-facing value and expand the product offering.
  • Support automation of SIM ordering, provisioning, and verification processes.
  • Contribute to active SIM lifecycle management for UICC and eUICC devices in the field.
  • Participate in future SIM strategy and work on new standards and product offerings.
  • Use metrics and engineering data to prioritize work with the greatest impact.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues to ensure reliable network service for IoT devices.
  • Share technical and domain knowledge with the team and learn from existing expertise.

Requirements

  • Experience as a backend software engineer in a senior or staff-level role.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript, Python, and Java.
  • Experience building distributed network services or cloud-based applications.
  • Experience with AWS, Terraform, and MySQL/Postgres.
  • Experience with unit testing and CI/CD practices.
  • Telecommunications knowledge, especially SIM-related domain experience, or readiness to learn it.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and collaborate across teams, including remote teams.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Full-stack or frontend development experience is a plus.
