Description

  • Write documentation for IT products used by different teams and for business processes such as standard operations, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Update existing documentation and keep it current.
  • Develop and maintain documentation using the Docs as Code approach.
  • Document APIs and technical solutions.
  • Create and maintain product knowledge base content.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and other team members to gather information and clarify requirements.
  • Create documentation for developers and users based on verbal or video descriptions.
  • Analyze and structure large volumes of information into clear documentation.
  • Perform independent product testing to verify the accuracy and completeness of documentation.
  • Prepare and collect documentation for audits.
  • Write internal documentation requested by department heads.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a technical writer in IT.
  • Experience developing and maintaining documentation using the Docs as Code principle.
  • Proficiency with version control systems, especially git.
  • Experience with development tools such as IntelliJ IDEA, VS Code, or similar.
  • Experience with Hugo for generating static documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of Markdown.
  • Experience documenting APIs and technical solutions.
  • Experience creating and maintaining a product knowledge base.
  • Experience writing technical documentation at all stages of the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience interacting with developers, business analysts, project managers, and other team members.
  • Experience writing various internal documentation at the request of department heads.
  • Ability to create documentation for developers and users from verbal or video descriptions.
  • Ability to analyze and structure large volumes of information.
  • Experience in independent product testing to verify documentation accuracy and completeness.
  • Experience preparing and collecting documentation for audits.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Excellent written Russian and English with the ability to produce concise, structured, and well-written texts.
