Description

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SRE/DevOps engineers.
  • Oversee end-to-end incident management, including on-call rotations, escalation paths, incident command, postmortems, RCA, and preventative actions.
  • Define and drive SRE practices such as SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, capacity planning, and observability standards.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to improve operational processes and balance delivery, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate distributed support and handoffs across IST and US time zones.
  • Align infrastructure investments with business and compliance goals.
  • Report on team health, reliability metrics, and operational performance.
  • Support department-wide initiatives and roadmap planning.
  • Stay hands-on with systems to help resolve operational challenges.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience as a team lead or manager in a DevOps/SRE environment.
  • Proven experience leading distributed teams across IST and US time zones.
  • Experience running incident management processes, including on-call, escalation, incident command, severity frameworks, blameless postmortems, and RCA.
  • Strong hands-on experience with multi-cloud environments such as AWS, Kubernetes (GKE and EKS), managed databases, object storage, networking, and IAM.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or similar.
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Experience with modern observability practices, including metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting.
  • Experience improving and scaling an SRE/DevOps function, on-call program, or reliability practice (preferred).
  • Experience in FinTech or another regulated environment with security and compliance requirements (preferred).
  • Experience optimizing data infrastructure and database operations (preferred).
  • Experience improving observability across multiple cloud technologies (preferred).
  • Background in designing for cost-efficiency, resilience, and security in cloud infrastructure (preferred).
