Description

  • Define the technical roadmap and establish a center of excellence for Active Directory and identity services.
  • Architect and maintain an Identity-as-Code ecosystem using CI/CD pipelines for directory changes, security updates, and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of a global identity infrastructure across public cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Serve as the final escalation point for complex Active Directory incidents and drive root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Implement observability and alerting for directory services using New Relic and other monitoring tools.
  • Define and govern the AD Delegation and Tiered Administration model to enforce least privilege.
  • Integrate applications and services with identity platforms such as Okta for authentication and authorization.
  • Mentor teams on security best practices and improve identity reliability and lifecycle management.
  • Own and publish standards and best-practice documentation for identity architecture, administration, and security.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT, Systems Engineering, DevOps, or Identity Engineering.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in Active Directory Domain Services, including DNS, DHCP, Certificate Services, and Group Policy Object (GPO) management.
  • Experience with cloud-based directory services such as AWS Directory Service and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD/Entra ID) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), including automated user lifecycle management, RBAC/ABAC, and compliance reporting.
  • Experience implementing GitOps workflows and infrastructure state management with Terraform, Chef, Ansible, or PowerShell DSC.
  • Familiarity with directory log analysis and SIEM tools such as Azure Sentinel.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or equivalent scripting languages.
  • Experience building and running identity solutions on public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols and systems, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • US citizenship required due to GovCloud and FedRAMP requirements.
