Description

  • Manage bookkeeping for multiple client accounts end to end.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations and close processes.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and maintain accurate general ledger records.
  • Prepare and review business and individual tax returns.
  • Assist with tax planning, compliance, and tax season client support.
  • Mentor, supervise, and train junior accounting staff.
  • Review team work for accuracy, completeness, and quality control.
  • Improve workflows, documentation, and internal accounting processes.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and resolve accounting issues proactively.
  • Manage deadlines across multiple client engagements.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of public accounting or client accounting experience.
  • Experience with Drake Tax and TaxDome is required.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online is required.
  • Strong bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals.
  • Experience preparing business and/or individual tax returns.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Experience reviewing others' work, training junior team members, and improving processes.
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
  • Experience working in a U.S. CPA firm preferred.
  • Experience managing remote teams preferred.
