Description

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise software applications and digital solutions.
  • Lead development of scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions aligned to business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
  • Develop and support web applications, APIs, backend services, integrations, and enterprise platforms.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Design and implement system integrations using DevSecOps, cloud services, databases, and third-party platforms.
  • Develop reusable components, frameworks, and automation solutions to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Lead technical analysis, code reviews, design reviews, and implementation planning.
  • Support modernization efforts by refactoring legacy applications and migrating to modern architectures and cloud environments.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and testing solutions while supporting release management and production operations.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, performance optimization, and troubleshooting for complex application and system issues.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, documentation, and support for Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 6 years of software development experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications and systems.
  • Experience with modern programming languages, frameworks, and development methodologies.
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, web services, system integrations, and enterprise applications.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, software architecture, and application development best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, DevSecOps, or hybrid software development environments.
  • Experience with source code management tools such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based application development and deployment environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and program leadership.
  • U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a clearance.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting federal government software development programs, including DHS and/or CISA.
  • Preferred: Experience developing solutions in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation frameworks.
  • Preferred: Experience with ServiceNow, Power Platform, SharePoint, Salesforce, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting digital transformation, customer experience, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of secure software development practices, application security testing, and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Preferred: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Preferred: Relevant certifications such as Azure Developer Associate, AWS Developer Associate, Certified Scrum Developer (CSD), Security+, or equivalent.
