Description

  • Lead and expand the General Business sales segment while shaping regional strategy.
  • Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition and achievement of sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the technology platform, product messaging, partner ecosystem, and competitive landscape.
  • Ensure assigned sales quotas are met by leading from the front and using Elastic’s sales methodology.
  • Foster a team culture of teamwork, transparency, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with Open Source community representatives and partner ecosystems.
  • Assist with deal creation and closure and provide managerial support to the team as needed.
  • Partner with Elastic’s leadership community to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Inspire and coach Account Executives and lead by example in a visible cross-functional role.

Requirements

  • Consistent track record of leading teams to exceed quotas and objectives in a fast-paced, technical, client acquisition-driven business.
  • Strong SaaS sales leadership experience.
  • Executive-level relationships with key accounts.
  • Ability to operate effectively in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience scaling a high-velocity sales function.
  • Experience managing successful Account Executives in a dynamic market.
  • Open Source model experience preferred.
  • Compensation is based on a 60/40 pay mix between base salary and target variable pay.
  • Typical starting salary range: $135,900 to $215,100 USD.
  • Typical starting target variable range: $90,600 to $143,300 USD.
  • Typical starting OTE range: $226,500 to $358,300 USD.
