Description

  • Prospect, develop, and close new business accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Create account target lists and penetration plans for prospective clients.
  • Generate new business through an existing professional network and a hunter-style sales approach.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline, and update forecasts and reports in Salesforce.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quota goals.
  • Deliver web-based and in-person presentations to prospects and partners.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to align Proficio’s services with client needs.
  • Plan and execute sales events to promote new service offerings and educate clients and partners.
  • Meet with C-level executives in person and via webinar to advance sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of direct sales experience in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Experience in MSSP sales is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate with C-level executives, including CISOs, CIOs, and IT leaders.
  • Technical acumen to discuss security, networking, and software/hardware solutions.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and winning new logos.
  • Must be able to travel 50% within the assigned territory.
  • Based in the DC Metro area.
