Description

  • Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to prospect, grow, and close new business accounts.
  • Build target account lists and create penetration plans for prospective customers.
  • Generate new business through existing professional networks and a hunter-style sales approach.
  • Manage a sales pipeline and maintain accurate forecasts and reports in Salesforce.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quota targets.
  • Deliver web-based and in-person presentations on Proficio’s services and value proposition.
  • Use a consultative approach to align solutions with prospect needs.
  • Plan and run sales events to promote new offerings and educate partners and clients.
  • Conduct meetings with C-level executives, including in person and via webinar.
  • Work with channel partners, sales engineering, and business development teams to support the sales process.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of direct sales experience in the cybersecurity industry, with MSSP experience highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to negotiate with C-level executives, including CISOs, CIOs, and IT leaders.
  • Technical acumen to discuss security, networking, and software/hardware solutions.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales quotas and winning new logos.
  • Ability to travel 50% within the assigned territory.
  • Experience building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce for forecasting and reporting is preferred.
  • Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for the Dallas/TOLA territory.
