Description

  • Lead the IT GenAI roadmap and evolve ElasticGPT into a task-oriented agentic ecosystem.
  • Design and implement agentic and deterministic workflows using frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, Elastic Agent Builder, or n8n.
  • Architect production retrieval-augmented generation systems using hybrid search methods including BM25, vector search, and RRF.
  • Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines from enterprise systems such as Confluence, Jira, GitHub, and ServiceNow.
  • Oversee the model lifecycle, including fine-tuning and deployment of scalable APIs on Kubernetes across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Own token efficiency, latency, cost management, observability, and evaluation pipelines for GenAI services.
  • Design LLM gateway architectures for routing, fallback, spend control, and governance across multiple model providers.
  • Define multi-agent patterns, state management, tool contracts, and handoff logic for enterprise workflows.
  • Build secure and reliable agents with retries, scoped permissions, audit trails, and enterprise governance controls.

Requirements

  • Proven experience building production-grade agents and RAG systems using frameworks such as LangGraph and LangSmith.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
  • Deep experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, or similar deep learning frameworks.
  • Deep knowledge of Elasticsearch relevance engineering, including ESRE, vector indexing with HNSW, and relevance tuning.
  • Extensive experience with Kubernetes and high-concurrency cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience managing trade-offs among latency, cost, and response quality across multi-model environments such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Vertex AI.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical roadmaps and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience developing generative AI models, including NLP or computer vision models.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices for model deployment and automation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, collaboration skills, and a commitment to Ethical AI and responsible development practices.

  • Base salary range of CAD $101,900 to $151,900.
