Description

  • Research, identify, and evaluate new suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
  • Manage sourcing and procurement of goods and services to meet inventory requirements and supply chain needs.
  • Prepare, review, and submit purchase orders accurately and on time.
  • Monitor inventory levels, demand planning data, and reorder needs to maintain stock levels.
  • Track shipments and resolve delivery delays or production issues proactively.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules with vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, inventory, and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Demand Planning, Quality Control, and Supply Chain teams on launches and procurement alignment.
  • Resolve supplier issues such as product defects or order discrepancies with Quality Control.
  • Evaluate procurement processes and recommend improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in eCommerce or consumer goods.
  • Proven experience in vendor management, cost negotiations, and supply chain optimization.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate daily by phone with North American vendors when needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in procurement and inventory management software tools.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven mindset.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish, written and verbal, preferred.
  • Experience sourcing products, ingredients, and components in the CPG category is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Fully remote availability with alignment to U.S. time zones.
