Description

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable full-stack applications with Next.js, React.js, Node.js, and MySQL.
  • Drive architecture discussions and system design for new modules and features focused on scalability, modularity, and performance.
  • Own end-to-end implementation from planning through deployment, including coding, testing, CI/CD, and documentation.
  • Build performant RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with modular frontend components.
  • Improve client-side and server-side performance through TTFB, LCP, code splitting, caching, database tuning, and Lighthouse optimization.
  • Collaborate with design, product, DevOps, and engineering teams to deliver user-centric, scalable experiences.
  • Review code, provide architectural guidance, and promote engineering excellence.
  • Use Docker and Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines to deploy to AWS infrastructure in a microservices environment.
  • Leverage AI developer tools to improve productivity and help others use them effectively.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of professional full-stack web development experience, including recent senior or lead experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Next.js (SSR, routing, data fetching), and Node.js.
  • Strong experience with MySQL, including schema design and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Tabnine.
  • Proven ability to debug performance bottlenecks using server-level metrics such as CPU, memory, I/O, logs, and network latency.
  • Hands-on experience optimizing frontend performance with bundle splitting, lazy loading, and Lighthouse auditing.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for measuring performance and user interactions.
  • Deep understanding of REST APIs, microservices communication patterns, error handling, and API versioning.
  • Proficiency with Docker, Jenkins-based CI/CD, and AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS.
  • Experience with code reviews, testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library, and technical documentation.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally and independently owning complex features or refactors.
  • Preferred: Experience with multi-region websites, performance optimization, and data privacy/security standards.
  • Preferred: Experience using BigQuery with GA4 exports to analyze usage trends, retention, conversion funnels, and performance issues.
  • Preferred: Experience with DevOps, observability tools such as New Relic or ELK, or system reliability practices.
  • Preferred: Experience with API documentation tools such as Swagger or Postman and automated deployment pipelines.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of CDNs such as Cloudflare and internationalization/localization strategies for web apps.
