Description

  • Join a full-stack team of frontend, backend, and AI research engineers in a collaborative environment.
  • Develop and train bandit models and large-scale neural network models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand needs and align model outputs with company objectives.
  • Participate in strategic product and business decision-making as part of the Monetization leadership group.
  • Stay current on advances in machine learning, especially LLMs and bandits, and apply new methods to ongoing work.
  • Mentor team members and support their professional development.
  • Deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient machine learning solutions.
  • Deploy research into production systems that balance revenue and retention.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an AI research engineer in areas such as LLMs, bandits, computer vision, or related fields.
  • Strong background in training and fine-tuning large models in an applied setting.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on machine learning or artificial intelligence, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
  • Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Broad experience across the ML stack, including feature engineering, training data development, fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, quality evaluation, deployment, and monitoring, is highly desirable.
  • Experience with large language models and multi-armed bandits is highly desirable.
  • Experience working on monetization, experimentation, or business-oriented ML systems is implied by the role context.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $220,800 to $331,200 USD.
  • Equity compensation in addition to base salary.
