Description

  • Develop a local marketing strategy to grow awareness, brand love, and user acquisition in the Arab region.
  • Implement regional campaigns across social media, partnerships, brand marketing, acquisition, and PR.
  • Hire and lead agencies or contractors needed to execute the marketing plan.
  • Serve as a local spokesperson and manage speaking opportunities for self and executives across MENA.
  • Analyze local marketing performance and adjust the plan based on results.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product teams on localized messaging and positioning for product and feature launches.
  • Collaborate with global and country marketing teams to identify opportunities and create relevant creative tactics and campaigns.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of consumer marketing experience with a strong focus on social media and growth marketing.
  • Experience conceiving, developing, and leading marketing and PR communications across the full campaign lifecycle.
  • Experience working on a remote team and building strong HQ relationships while influencing for local market needs.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and excellent English speaking and writing skills.
  • Deep cultural awareness and familiarity with social media trends among Arab consumers.
  • Track record of achieving strong results through ideas and creativity rather than large budgets.
  • Strong writing and storytelling ability to create compelling, customer-centric narratives.
  • Experience with mobile apps and subscription services is preferred.
  • Experience scaling international brands across MENA is preferred.
  • Proficiency in a third language is preferred.
