Description

  • Own full-cycle recruiting, including intake, sourcing, assessments, and offers, for non-technical roles and some technical roles as needed.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, interview plans, and hiring timelines.
  • Support intake meetings and recruiting syncs by sharing updates, surfacing insights, and recommending next steps.
  • Manage recruiting operations, including timelines, progress tracking, status updates, and risk communication while following standardized processes and tools.
  • Deliver a strong candidate experience through timely communication, structured assessments, and clear feedback loops.
  • Use data to monitor funnel health, identify trends, and improve search outcomes.
  • Work with internal and third-party recruiting tools, including AI-enabled tools.
  • Help keep searches on track and maintain Duolingo’s high talent bar.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience across multiple non-technical functions such as Business, Marketing, Design, or People.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches at once while staying organized and maintaining a strong candidate experience.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust and align hiring partners.
  • Experience using recruiting data such as pipeline metrics and conversion rates to guide recruiting decisions.
  • Comfort ideating, building, and experimenting with AI tools like ChatGPT.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT to support recruiting workflows.
  • Experience with ATS/CRM tools such as Gem, Brighthire, Guide, and Greenhouse.
  • Ability to work from or relocate to Pittsburgh, PA or New York, NY.
  • Experience recruiting across both non-technical and technical functions is preferred.
  • Experience recruiting in tech, startups, or high-growth companies is preferred.
