Description

  • Own Windows endpoint reliability and lifecycle management, including provisioning, application delivery, updates, security configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Improve patching through testing, staged rollouts, remediation, and recovery workflows.
  • Improve reporting on device health, patching, and configuration while clarifying issue ownership.
  • Build reliable, tested automation for recurring endpoint operations.
  • Adopt FleetDM, osquery, infrastructure-as-code, GitOps, and related practices where they improve platform reliability and maintainability.
  • Lead multi-phase platform improvements across CorpInfra, IAM, Security, and support teams.
  • Define technical roadmaps and balance security, reliability, employee experience, and team capacity.
  • Mentor teammates through pairing, code reviews, design reviews, and documented operational practices.

Requirements

  • Significant experience engineering and operating Windows endpoint environments beyond ticket handling or routine console administration.
  • Deep hands-on Intune experience with device lifecycle, configuration and compliance policies, application management, updates, and Entra ID dependencies.
  • Strong Windows troubleshooting skills across operating-system behavior, services, logs, networking, certificates, identity, and security controls.
  • Recent experience owning Windows and third-party application patching, including staged deployment, validation, exceptions, and recovery.
  • Strong practical PowerShell skills plus familiarity with Python, Go, C#, or another programming language.
  • Experience building and maintaining production automation or systems integrations.
  • Experience with version control, code review, automated checks, controlled deployments, safe retries, failure handling, secrets management, and configuration drift.
  • Ability to deliver multi-phase work independently, prioritize under ambiguity, collaborate across teams, mentor engineers, and communicate clearly.
  • FleetDM on Windows experience, including agent operations, policies, queries, targeting, APIs, or GitOps-managed configuration (preferred).
  • Experience with osquery and SQL, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, endpoint-management migrations, Automox, Patch My PC, privilege management, application control, encryption, or cross-platform automation (preferred).

Benefits

  • US Zone 2 salary range: $159,100–$215,300 USD.
  • US Zone 3 salary range: $141,400–$191,400 USD.
