Description

Drive Dropbox’s compensation philosophy, design, and programs for assigned client teams.
Build consultative relationships with HR business partners, business leaders, and executive leadership.
Advise on complex compensation matters using analytics and strategic alignment to business goals.
Act as a trusted advisor on compensation decisions and provide data-backed recommendations.
Research compensation best practices and trends and assess program effectiveness, competitiveness, and fairness.
Present findings and alternative solutions aligned with Dropbox’s compensation philosophy.
Contribute to enterprise-wide compensation programs and processes, including job architecture, market benchmarking, compensation review cycles, and global compensation practices.
Design and implement compensation programs with consideration for business needs and impact on the global employee base.
Develop and deliver compensation-related training and education materials to client teams.
Partner with Recruiting to support new hire offers and ensure alignment to market and internal peers.

Requirements

BA/BS in a related field.
7+ years of experience in-house or advising, preferably in the technology industry or at a compensation consulting firm.
Experience with job evaluation, market matching, job pricing, compensation review cycles, and global compensation practices.
Demonstrated adaptability and experience in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to influence and build strong working relationships with executives, line management, and peers.
Experience in a client-facing role supporting Corporate Groups or EPD teams.
Strong change management and project management skills.
Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear outputs and recommendations.
Advanced Excel skills; the interview process may include an Excel test.
Preferred: experience with Tableau, SQL, Databricks, or AI tools for compensation analytics and reporting.

Benefits

Competitive salary range of $150,400–$203,400 USD in US Zone 2.
Competitive salary range of $133,600–$180,800 USD in US Zone 3.
Role is not available in US Zone 1.
Opportunity to work on enterprise-wide compensation programs at Dropbox.
