Description

  • Lead full-stack development of product features across backend APIs and modern frontends, with a focus on drone and robotics integration.
  • Own projects from architecture and design through deployment and maintenance.
  • Develop and test directly on autonomous drones and sensor payloads to support field hardware integrations and data processing.
  • Build secure, scalable, and high-performance systems using modern technologies.
  • Support and monitor live production systems to maintain reliability and performance.
  • Use observability tools to detect issues early and improve user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on business goals and deliver user-centric solutions.
  • Contribute to technical design decisions and run smaller projects with autonomy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in full stack software development with production-grade software delivery and support.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, with experience in Python.
  • Experience in Java/Kotlin and Go is a plus.
  • Solid experience with Angular v19+ or similar modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
  • Experience in Android app development is a plus.
  • Experience with RESTful API design, including authentication, versioning, and external service integration.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB or similar modern database setups.
  • Experience designing automated testing strategies using tools such as Jest or Pytest.
  • Familiarity with microservices, modular architectures, and event-driven systems.
  • Ability to work remotely with core team overlap hours from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM PT, with occasional meetings between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM PT and occasional domestic travel.
