Description

  • Establish the vision, strategy, and success metrics for the Customer Support and Integrity Security function.
  • Lead the technical direction and roadmap execution for security initiatives that reduce risk in support agents and tooling.
  • Partner with Customer Support and Integrity, Merchant Experience, Enterprise Security, Engineering, Product, GRC, and related teams to implement security strategies.
  • Design and operationalize security controls that promote secure solutions and best practices across internal and third-party support populations.
  • Set measurable metrics to track the performance and impact of security programs and initiatives.
  • Perform security testing and validation of support teams, processes, and systems to identify gaps and remediation plans.
  • Drive alignment across multiple organizations and build operating mechanisms to manage security risks at scale.
  • Act as the trusted primary security partner and connector between the Customer Support and Integrity organization and security teams.
  • Lead root cause analysis and help remediate systemic security issues at scale.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a security engineer in enterprise security, corporate security, or infrastructure security.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing security solutions at scale for support and sales populations, including internal and third-party users.
  • Experience working directly with third-party support organizations such as call centers or business process outsourcers.
  • Strong understanding of security engineering, system architecture, scalability, reliability, and design trade-offs.
  • Breadth of technical experience across infrastructure and security areas in large production environments.
  • Ability to analyze code, architecture, and designs from a security perspective.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and programming languages such as Java; Golang experience is a plus.
  • Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
  • Experience with IAM platforms such as Okta or Google Workspace.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Workspace products, especially Google Chrome Enterprise Premium, and cloud infrastructure in GCP and AWS.
  • Experience with access management, abuse prevention, operational controls, incident management, or platform risk programs.
  • Experience building scalable governance frameworks, escalation models, or operational control mechanisms.
  • Experience leveraging AI, automation, or workflow tooling to improve operational scale and resilience.
  • Experience operating across global teams and time zones.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to review cloud infrastructure design documents with engineering personnel.
