Description

  • Define and execute the global mobility and immigration strategy in alignment with business and People Operations priorities.
  • Develop and manage a unified, scalable, and M&A-ready operating model across DoorDash brands.
  • Lead, develop, and structure a globally distributed team of mobility and immigration professionals.
  • Set vendor strategy, including evaluating, negotiating, and consolidating immigration and relocation providers.
  • Drive process improvements and technology initiatives across case intake, visa filing, and relocation.
  • Act as the final escalation point for high-risk or cross-functional mobility and immigration matters.
  • Advise Legal, Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, and senior leaders on mobility and immigration priorities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in global mobility and/or immigration.
  • Several years of experience leading teams and owning strategy across multiple jurisdictions, ideally including the US, EMEA, and APAC.
  • Experience building or scaling a global mobility or immigration function within a multinational, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience developing and leading people leaders and building long-term organizational capability.
  • Strong cross-cultural fluency and change management experience with globally distributed teams.
  • Experience partnering strategically with Legal, Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, and senior stakeholders.
  • Sound judgment handling high-risk, cross-functional escalations and ambiguous priorities.
  • Curiosity about applying new tools, including AI, to improve efficiency, insights, and employee experience.
  • Ability to work remotely from anywhere on the US East Coast.
