Description

  • Provide hardware and software troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and end-user support with prompt and professional service.
  • Manage help desk tickets using NOC and IT service management processes and tools.
  • Monitor and help meet or exceed SLAs while following standard operating procedures and support standards.
  • Escalate critical incidents, access issues, security concerns, and unresolved technical problems to management as needed.
  • Manage user access controls, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.
  • Assist with system configuration and data entry to maintain security and operational integrity.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and support PC and Mac environments.
  • Collaborate with IT staff to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Identify and escalate security and IT issues in accordance with incident response and access management processes.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira Service Management and other IT service management tools.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Unix system administration.
  • Basic understanding of network concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and network architecture.
  • Experience with Okta/SSO and user management.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to deliver results on time.
  • Ability to learn new technologies, adapt to changing environments, and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and incident response is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts is beneficial.
  • SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with the Atlassian Suite is preferred.
