Description

  • Continuously monitor, measure, and analyze data quality to maintain accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, gaps, and anomalies according to business rules and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement data validation processes to maintain data integrity.
  • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to extract, validate, and reconcile data.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for data improvement.
  • Support data migration, transformation, and reconciliation efforts.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using AWS QuickSight and Tableau.
  • Prepare and present data insights to stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage the sourcing, structuring, and standardization of data assets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to improve workflows, data collection processes, and data governance practices.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a data steward, data analyst, or data governance role.
  • Proficiency in SQL for query writing, data extraction, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with AWS QuickSight or Tableau Desktop/Tableau Prep preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data manipulation.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of data governance, quality frameworks, and data lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with large datasets to produce actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of data profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving ability, and a detail-oriented, proactive mindset.
  • Familiarity with the Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK) preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.

  • Preference for candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone, with other U.S. time zones considered.
  • Expected travel is up to 10%.
  • Salary range of $65,000–$75,000.
