Description

  • Maintain backend configurations and customizations in PLM systems, including PTC Windchill and Teamcenter.
  • Maintain integrations between PLM systems and enterprise applications such as ERP, CAD, and XPLM.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support to end users.
  • Support migration of legacy product data and PLM system transitions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize PLM capabilities.
  • Create and maintain documentation for code, applications, and customizations.
  • Provide ongoing support for deployed solutions and implement required updates.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and validation.
  • Analyze data to identify root causes, business impact, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support PLM system migration efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of development experience with PTC Windchill or similar software, including system development and administration.
  • Strong programming skills in Java/J2EE technologies, including JavaScript, GWT, JQuery, XML, JSPs, SQL, and Teamcenter.
  • Knowledge and experience in Linux environments.
  • Knowledge and experience with build and release processes.
  • Experience with PLM customization frameworks, APIs, and data models.
  • Strong understanding of product data management and change control processes.
  • Familiarity with PLM integration with CAD/ERP systems such as SAP B1 and related SAP BPA’s.
  • Proven ability to partner with stakeholders through strong collaboration and influence.
  • Experience with enterprise integration middleware such as PTC ThingWorx or custom APIs is preferred.
  • Agile development and DevOps exposure is preferred.
