Description

  • Consolidate monthly payroll inputs from multiple systems and sources, submit data to external providers, audit final reports, and coordinate salary funding and payments with Treasury.
  • Own employee support inquiries through Jira, Slack, and email, resolving questions related to payroll discrepancies, tax logic, and labor rights with an empathetic service approach.
  • Prepare consolidated reports for Accounting and FP&A, track variances, and ensure accurate payroll impact reporting.
  • Review, update, and maintain labor documentation, including localized contract clauses and country-specific requirements.
  • Manage social security and tax payments and maintain SOPs for all countries to support process continuity and audit readiness.
  • Oversee country-specific operational requirements such as statutory reporting, contract localization, labor statute adaptation, and regional fiscal adjustments.
  • Partner with People Business Partners on disciplinary actions and PIPs.
  • Manage the end-to-end offboarding process, including exit agreements and coordination with legal counsel on claims or lawsuits.
  • Support compliance and audit activities across multiple countries and providers.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders to ensure smooth people operations across the employee lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Payroll, People Operations, HR Operations, or a related field, ideally in a multi-country or global environment.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax compliance, labor laws, and statutory reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to reconcile payroll data, audit provider outputs, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience supporting employee queries through systems such as Jira, Zendesk, Slack, or email.
  • Ability to work with legal teams, labor counsel, or PBPs on disciplinary actions, PIPs, and offboarding processes.
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple countries, providers, and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience in high-growth international companies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Latin America and EMEA labor legislation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of automation, AI tools, or workflow optimization tools such as AI copilots, RPA, Zapier, or data automation tools is preferred.
  • Prior exposure to process improvement or operational excellence initiatives is preferred.
