Description

  • Design and execute recruitment strategies aligned with staffing needs, growth plans, and succession planning.
  • Monitor anesthesia labor market trends and adjust sourcing approaches accordingly.
  • Source CRNAs and anesthesiologists through professional networks, job boards, referrals, and social media.
  • Build relationships with training programs to develop pipelines of new graduates, residents, and fellows.
  • Screen candidates for clinical background, licensure, site fit, and scheduling preferences.
  • Present qualified candidates to stakeholders, coordinate interviews, and support selection decisions.
  • Maintain proactive communication with candidates throughout the recruiting and credentialing process.
  • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, conversion rates, and retention trends.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in ATS/CRM systems with audit-ready documentation.
  • Collaborate with credentialing, scheduling, and compliance teams to meet readiness-to-start timelines.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience recruiting anesthesia providers, with flexibility for candidates with 3+ years of strong experience.
  • Proven experience recruiting U.S. healthcare providers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of anesthesia roles, credentialing requirements, and multi-site staffing dynamics.
  • Experience sourcing and engaging passive candidates through relationship-building, negotiation, and closing.
  • Proficiency with ATS and CRM platforms, plus LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Ability to produce pipeline metrics and recruiting reports.
  • Strong communication skills with professionalism, responsiveness, and trust-building ability.
  • Preference for candidates with physician recruiting experience in addition to CRNA recruiting.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent searches in an organized and proactive manner.
  • Avoidance of locums-only recruiting backgrounds; the role is focused on long-term staffing.
