Description

  • Develop, grow, and maintain strategic relationships at all levels within the assigned territory.
  • Actively cold call, prospect, and develop pipeline for new business opportunities.
  • Identify and qualify customers who fit the data center profile and pursue targeted opportunities.
  • Create and execute a territory management plan and upsell other core product sets to existing and new customers.
  • Proactively and accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and yearly margin results for the territory to assist in achieving sales goals.
  • Serve as a collaborative member of the sales team and participate in territory sales activities.
  • Present and drive strategic, value-based cabling solutions for high-performance data center environments to technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Provide customer feedback and industry information to the management team to inform product and strategy decisions.
  • Attend required sales and product training and travel periodically to visit key customer sites or industry events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales Management, or related field (or 9+ years of structured cabling sales and strategic account management experience in lieu of a degree).
  • 5+ years of structured cabling sales and strategic account management experience (or 9+ years in lieu of degree).
  • Experience in Data Center or Enterprise environments with an understanding of fiber infrastructure.
  • Proven experience with solution-based selling and the ability to present technical solutions to business stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Comfortable engaging with both technical and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel periodically to visit customer sites or attend industry events.

Benefits

  • Base salary range $80,000 to $150,000.
  • On-target earnings (OTE) between $200,000 and $350,000 (base + incentive).
  • Uncapped incentive earnings offering significant upside potential.
  • Remote full-time position.
