Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and marketing teams to improve website functionality and user experience.
  • Optimise web applications for speed, scalability, and overall performance.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across multiple browsers and devices.
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following development best practices.
  • Implement and maintain SEO best practices across digital platforms.
  • Manage and update website content through CMS platforms such as Shopify.
  • Work with APIs and third-party integrations to support web functionality.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and development best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Web Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with back-end technologies such as PHP, Python, or Ruby.
  • Familiarity with database management and integration.
  • Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
  • Experience working with APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Knowledge of version control systems.
  • Experience with CMS platforms, particularly Shopify.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and web optimisation techniques.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles is preferred.
  • Experience using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics is preferred.
  • Exposure to eCommerce platforms and online customer experiences is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Zenoti booking platform is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Passion for staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
