Description

  • Reverse-engineer existing workflows to identify inefficiencies and optimisation opportunities.
  • Design and build scalable automation solutions across multiple platforms and systems.
  • Own workstreams from requirements and design through build, testing, deployment, documentation, and handover.
  • Implement exception handling, monitoring, operational support processes, and sustainable troubleshooting solutions.
  • Gather requirements and translate business processes into practical automation solutions.
  • Create workflow diagrams, SOPs, process documentation, and client handover materials.
  • Develop reusable automation components, recipes, integration patterns, and internal playbooks.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and communicate progress, recommendations, and technical considerations.
  • Maintain delivery visibility through Jira or similar platforms and provide regular written updates.

Requirements

  • Mid-to-senior experience in Automation Engineering and/or System Integration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workato or deep expertise with n8n.
  • Experience designing automation workflows across multiple systems.
  • Strong experience integrating SaaS applications using REST APIs, middleware, and data flows.
  • Experience reverse-engineering and optimising existing workflows.
  • Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, workflow documentation, and business analysis skills.
  • Ability to work independently with strong ownership, problem-solving, adaptability, and attention to quality.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Atlassian Suite, or equivalent Kanban/Scrum tools.
  • Experience with React/React Native, Vercel, Supabase, eCommerce, logistics, Shopify, or BigCommerce is advantageous.
