Description

  • Reverse-engineer existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, technical issues, and optimisation opportunities.
  • Design, build, and optimise scalable automation solutions across systems and platforms.
  • Own automation workstreams from requirements and design through testing, deployment, documentation, and handover.
  • Integrate SaaS applications using APIs, middleware, and data flows.
  • Implement exception handling, monitoring, and operational support processes for automations.
  • Troubleshoot workflow and integration issues and deliver sustainable solutions.
  • Gather and analyse requirements, translating business processes into practical automation solutions.
  • Create workflow diagrams, SOPs, and client-ready handover documentation.
  • Develop reusable automation components, integration patterns, recipes, and internal playbooks.
  • Communicate progress, recommendations, and technical workflows to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Mid-to-senior-level experience in automation engineering and/or system integration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workato or deep expertise in n8n.
  • Proven ability to design and implement automation workflows across multiple systems.
  • Experience with REST APIs, SaaS integrations, middleware, and workflow automation.
  • Ability to reverse-engineer existing workflows and identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Strong business analysis capability, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and workflow validation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with client-facing professionalism.
  • Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Atlassian Suite, or equivalent Kanban/Scrum tools.
  • Experience with React/React Native, Vercel, Supabase, eCommerce or logistics environments, Shopify, or BigCommerce is advantageous.
