Description

  • Own and resolve escalated tickets from Level 1 through to final resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and support Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Provide advanced administration and troubleshooting for Microsoft 365, including Exchange, identity, MFA, and Conditional Access.
  • Diagnose and resolve networking issues across LAN, WAN, VLANs, and DNS.
  • Implement and manage firewall changes, with FortiGate preferred.
  • Validate and troubleshoot backup and disaster recovery solutions such as Datto, Cove, Veeam, or similar tools.
  • Respond to monitoring alerts and help improve overall system stability.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, documentation, and runbooks.
  • Mentor Level 1 engineers and help reduce unnecessary escalations.
  • Proactively identify risks, security gaps, and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven MSP experience as a Level 2 or Escalation Engineer.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, networking, firewalls, and backups.
  • Experience with full ticket ownership and root-cause analysis.
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced MSP environment.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and process discipline.
  • Experience with FortiGate firewalls preferred.
  • Experience with Datto, Cove, Veeam, or similar backup platforms preferred.
  • Ability to work the specified shift of 1 AM IST.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 security controls such as MFA and Conditional Access preferred.
