Description

  • Provide expert technical support to enterprise customers for backup, recovery, and data management issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems involving backup infrastructures and disaster recovery.
  • Perform remote problem solving and customer issue analysis.
  • Support implementation, configuration, and monitoring of enterprise backup solutions.
  • Work across Windows Server, Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, and networking environments to diagnose issues.
  • Document technical findings, incidents, and resolutions clearly for internal and customer use.
  • Communicate effectively with customers in English and Chinese or English and Japanese.
  • Collaborate with customers using a customer-first, problem-solving approach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical or customer support, preferably in enterprise data backup and recovery environments.
  • Hands-on experience with backup software and data management tools.
  • Familiarity with Veritas, Veeam, NetBackup, or Avamar is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows Server, Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with implementation, configuration, and monitoring of enterprise backup solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese or English and Japanese.
  • Experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery suites is desired.
  • Experience with technical and incident documentation is desired.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and network troubleshooting is desired.
  • Experience with disaster recovery planning and testing is desired.
  • Windows experience is mandatory; Linux is not required.
  • Experience with Exchange on-prem, Microsoft 365, Microsoft SQL, and SharePoint is mandatory.
