Description

  • Provide Level 3 technical support across multiple customer environments.
  • Own complex incidents from investigation through to resolution.
  • Perform structured root-cause analysis for recurring issues.
  • Manage escalated support requests and communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Office.
  • Manage Microsoft Entra ID/Azure Active Directory, user access, licensing, permissions, and hybrid identity.
  • Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Remote Desktop Services, and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Support Hyper-V and/or VMware environments, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
  • Configure and troubleshoot VPN, firewall, DNS, and remote access solutions.
  • Maintain documentation, monitoring, patching, and operational improvement activities.
  • Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 engineers and share technical best practices.
  • Collaborate with service coordinators and technical teams to keep tickets moving and improve service quality.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Level 3 Systems Support, Senior Level 2 Support, or Infrastructure Support.
  • Previous experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Extensive experience administering Microsoft 365 and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft infrastructure administration experience.
  • Experience supporting virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including VPNs, firewalls, DNS, switching, routing, and VLANs.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a root-cause analysis approach.
  • Experience managing escalated technical incidents through to resolution.
  • Excellent customer communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers while working independently.
  • Experience with PowerShell, IT Glue, ConnectWise Screen Connect, or similar tools.
  • Nice to have: ConnectWise Automate, Cloudflare DNS, HPE iLO, HPE Smart Storage Administrator, 3CX, or customer application support experience.
