Description

  • Resolve technical support requests within agreed service levels and provide sustainable long-term solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and support macOS, iOS, Windows desktop, and Windows Server environments.
  • Take ownership of support cases from initial investigation through resolution and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients throughout the support lifecycle.
  • Monitor client environments for risks, performance concerns, and compliance issues.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities for clients.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, support records, and internal knowledge base content.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, tools, automation, and service delivery processes.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and collaborate on technical projects and service initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in an L2 Support Engineer role within an MSP environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting experience across macOS, iOS, Windows desktop, and Windows Server.
  • Proven ability to manage support requests end-to-end in SLA-driven environments.
  • Experience working independently while balancing multiple priorities, escalations, and client expectations.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace.
  • Experience with RMM platforms, ITSM and ticketing systems, endpoint protection, and patch management solutions.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, and VLANs.
  • Experience with MDM and identity management platforms such as Jamf, Addigy, JumpCloud, Okta, or Entra ID.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools in technical support environments.
  • Scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Zsh is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications across Microsoft, Apple, or Google technologies are preferred.
  • Exposure to security frameworks and compliance standards is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and time-management skills.
  • A calm, methodical, proactive, and collaborative approach, with a willingness to mentor and share knowledge.
