Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows using the Rewst platform.
  • Build automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, and Jinja templating.
  • Develop and maintain reusable automation modules, scripts, and integrations.
  • Work with JSON data manipulation and structured data processing.
  • Create API-driven automations that integrate across multiple systems using REST APIs.
  • Integrate workflows with Microsoft 365, Azure, Microsoft Graph, and MSP tools such as ConnectWise and Autotask.
  • Build integrations using OpenAPI and Swagger documentation.
  • Automate common MSP processes such as user provisioning and deprovisioning, ticket management, device management, monitoring and alert remediation, and reporting.
  • Integrate automation with PSA, RMM, and security platforms.
  • Use Git for version control, follow testing and release processes, and maintain documentation for workflows and scripts.
  • Collaborate with the lead automation engineer, infrastructure engineers, and service desk teams to identify and deliver automation opportunities.
  • Participate in design discussions and architecture reviews.
  • Identify repetitive manual tasks and improve existing workflows for efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Stay current with automation tools, APIs, and MSP technology platforms.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience developing automation workflows or scripts.
  • Strong knowledge of Python, PowerShell, Jinja templating, and JSON data manipulation.
  • Experience working with REST APIs and API integrations.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Graph, Azure, and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Experience using Git for source control.
  • Understanding of OpenAPI and Swagger documentation.
  • Experience building automation solutions using code.
  • Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider, IT infrastructure, service desk, or systems engineering environment is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with tools such as ConnectWise Manage, ConnectWise Automate, Autotask, and RMM platforms.
  • Understanding of common MSP workflows and operational challenges.
